Kinnet Canal
The Kinnet Canal Project is a major infrastructure initiative designed to channel and drain floodwaters from the Arava region into Eilat, forming a key part of the city’s flood protection system. The project was delivered through meticulous planning and exceptional execution, addressing complex engineering and environmental challenges.
The scope of work included extensive earthworks, groundwater dewatering, ground stabilization, the construction of a reinforced concrete drainage canal, and the installation of retaining and structural reinforcement systems to ensure the canal’s long-term stability and its ability to safely accommodate significant floodwater flows.
In addition, embankments surrounding the salt ponds were raised to further strengthen the area’s flood protection infrastructure.
Executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and engineering precision, the project demonstrates the Company’s expertise in delivering complex civil engineering works while developing critical infrastructure and protecting the surrounding environment.
