Mevo Carmel Road | Haifa

The Mevo Carmel Road improvement and upgrading project was carried out to enhance the area’s transportation infrastructure, improve road safety and increase traffic capacity. The project included widening the road and upgrading three major intersections, which were redesigned to accommodate the area’s evolving transportation needs.

As part of the works, an existing roundabout was converted into a signalised intersection, a new signalised intersection was constructed to improve traffic flow, and a dedicated access ramp was built to provide direct entry to the container terminal. In addition, a new northern entrance to the terminal was established to improve the operational efficiency of commercial traffic in the area.

The project also included drainage works, environmental development, landscaping, fencing, pavement construction and improvements to the public realm, all executed in accordance with the highest standards of quality, safety and engineering precision. Together, these works created a more advanced, efficient and safe transportation infrastructure capable of meeting both current and future traffic needs.
